Protecting buyers and sellers in Virginia since 1996
What is Escrow?
Escrow is earnest money invested in the buying process to show sellers that the buyer is genuinely interested in purchasing the property.
It’s used in real estate transactions to protect buyers and sellers throughout the home buying process.
This earnest money is placed into an escrow account and maintained/managed until a particular condition has been met, like the fulfillment of a purchase agreement.
